Universal Life Insurance does not typically have an expiration date. Unlike term life insurance, which provides coverage for a specific period of time, Universal Life Insurance is a type of permanent life insurance that is designed to provide coverage for the entire lifetime of the insured individual. Universal Life Insurance policies are flexible and allow policyholders to adjust their premium payments and death benefit amounts over time. However, it's important to note that the policy may lapse if the cash value is insufficient to cover the cost of insurance and the policyholder does not make additional premium payments. In such cases, the policyholder may need to reinstate the policy or convert it to a paid-up policy to maintain coverage. It's always a good idea to review the terms and conditions of your specific Universal Life Insurance policy to understand the details and any potential expiration or lapse scenarios.
