To qualify for USAA homeowner insurance, you must meet certain eligibility criteria. USAA homeowner insurance is available to active, retired, and honorably separated officers and enlisted personnel of the U.S. military, as well as their eligible family members. This includes widows, widowers, and former spouses who have not remarried. Additionally, USAA homeowner insurance is available to cadets and midshipmen at U.S. service academies, as well as certain officer candidates within 24 months of commissioning. USAA membership is required to purchase USAA homeowner insurance, and membership is generally available to individuals who have served in the U.S. military or are affiliated with the military through family relationships. USAA membership is also available to certain individuals who have not served in the military but have a close family member who is a USAA member. It's important to note that eligibility criteria may vary, so it's best to contact USAA directly or visit their website for the most up-to-date information.
